This course is excellent. I have courses I & II of Pimsleur but I find this more effective because it explains the phonetics of French while teaching basic gramatical structure. Pimsleur was good for basis sentence's needed as at ourist but did not explain the reason a sentence was structured the way it was. I had to struggle analysing the sentences with the help of French Language book on my own. I cannot tell you how much the pronunciation lessons have helped understand what to pronounce, when and what not to pronounce.

It is an excellent method of study, using html pages to combine the written word with the spoken in a much more integrated package than the usual book/tape setup. It works on Macs, and your Mac support is excellent. I still have a copy of it on my laptop and dip into a lesson when I have some spare time.
